Hi, so as promised here I am. Ah right, I didn't promise anything, did I...

If you were to get an insight of how my weekdays went like in the morning (at college), you'd get to find two people in the same room whose classes both start at 8.30am. Let's say it was now 7.00am. Your eyes would get to feast the sight of only one of them getting ready for class. Another one would still be on her bed; not asleep; completely awake but snuggled under her blanket. The clock would tick till it struck 8.00am and by now you'd be able to see one of themnow dressedgrabbing her pink tumbler and a packet of Oat Krunch, making her way out of the room to put on her kicks, and starting her brief journey to campus. The other one? Yea you bet. Still in the same position, deliberately wasting time by staring into the blankness of nothing, surprisingly aware of the time now, though. You might want to check if she was still alive, so you would get closer to her to make sure she was still breathing, but you would get startled instead (now 8.10am) when she abruptly jumped out of her bed, obviously frantic with worry when she realised she'd be late for class for the nth time, God knows.

That girl, my fellow invaders of planet Earth,

is me.

I think I've grown so accustomed to being late to class that even when I got ready early, I will still be late haha now don't ask me how that happens, I'm still puzzled too as of today. I've always managed to get away from getting scolded by my lecturers though, to be honest, until

this one day when my first class of the day was English. My new English lecturer is renowned for being strict and her critical thinking never fails to be a pain in the neck to us. I was late again, as per usual. And Madam is allergic to people who are late to class ._.

I was slightly relieved when I met Rizq in the elevator, jumpa partner in crime. When we entered the class, the ever so quite class, its occupants' attentions were immediately drawn to us. At this particular moment I swear to God our expressions screamed the shut down of our brains. We were both clueless, not knowing what to do.. do we say sorry to Madam or do we just go to our seats and act like nothing happens? The latter happened to take place without any of us saying when Rizq started to move to her seat and I squinted my eyes to search for my English group mates in the class when I suddenly heard myself being scolded by Madam. No, not for being late....

"Where are your glasses?"

She said, with a tone that makes your heart drops out of fear. I thought it'd be rude to talk back to her so I ignored the question before going to my seat hahaha ok that's even ruder right, I know :p (but I didn't know at that time). I thought everything was ok now fuh my life was saved and all that, but as I was about to sit, tetiba

"Excuse me but why are you ignoring my question?"

"Oh... I'm.. I'm sorry."

"When people ask you a question you're not supposed to walk away and ignore them. Why aren't you wearing your glasses? Where are they? I saw you squinted just now."

/gulps
/shows glasses
"I... only wear them when I'm in the lecture hall."

"And why is that?"

"Um.. because I don't like wearing them?"

That left her speechless.
